Benefits of Mindfulness and Teens

Teen mindfulness and mediation have physical and mental benefits in a society of quick demands, social media, and gaming.  


Physical benefits include an increase in immune function, lower blood pressure, reduced levels in cortisol, and a overall improvement in the nervous system.


Mental benefits through therapy include a longer attentions span, improved concentration, increased activity in the prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate gyrus (improved planning and judgement and emotional regulation), decreases stress, anxiety, and depression.

Who is this group for?

This group is for those ages 11-17 who are struggling with the stress and demands of today's society..  Whether it is school related, peer relationships, familial relationships. or a gaming addiction.  Your child can benefit for learning Mindfulness.  It will be a life long tool that they will possess to lead to a happier and healthier life!

The Details
